We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Baldassarre Automotive. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify problems

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers about their vehicle's needs and repairs

• Keep up to date with industry standards and advancements in automotive technology

 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 18 years or older

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Extensive tools that reflect the ability to do everyday maintenance and tasks

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including European, Asian, and domestic

• ASE certification

• NH State Inspection license

• Additional certifications (e.g., ASE Master Technician)

• Familiarity with hybrid and electric vehicle repair

• Customer service experience

 

Work Environment

• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM

• Occasionally may need to work weekends or overtime

• Physical requirements include the ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions
